The Workshop Method
Receipt & Inspection
The piece is examined under magnification on arrival. Its condition is documented before anything else happens.
Written Assessment
A brief written assessment is sent to the owner. It states exactly what is proposed and what it will cost. Work begins only when this is agreed.
Bench Work & Return
The stated work is completed. For longer pieces, updates are provided mid-process. The piece is regulated and checked before collection is arranged.
If during the work something is found that falls outside the agreed scope, the owner is contacted before proceeding. No additional work is done without a second agreement. Original parts removed during repair are set aside and returned with the piece at collection.
§ 03a — Service 01
Crystal Polishing & Light Refinish
Removal of light scratches from acrylic or mineral crystals, with attention to the surrounding bezel. A good choice for daily-wear pieces that have collected surface marks over regular use. The process includes polishing to restore clarity, a condition check of the crystal-to-case seal, and reseating of the crystal where it has shifted.

§ 03b — Service 02
Dial Refinishing & Hand Refitting
A measured, sympathetic approach to refreshing a dial that has aged unevenly. The aim is to restore an even surface and readability while keeping the character of the original intact. Colour matching is done against the original dial tone rather than factory standards. Hand alignment is checked and corrected as part of the service.

§ 03c — Service 03
Pocket Watch & Complication Restoration
Specialist work on pocket watches and complicated movements such as repeaters, chronographs, and perpetual calendars. Each station of the movement is addressed in sequence — cleaned, inspected, adjusted, and refitted. A written assessment is provided before work begins, and progress is communicated for pieces requiring the full restoration period.

Protocols Across All Services
Secure Handling
Each piece is labelled and stored individually. Nothing is left on an open bench without attention.
Magnification Inspection
Loupe and bench microscope examination is used throughout assessment and work. No detail affecting the outcome is overlooked.
Post-Work Testing
Every piece is tested after work before collection is arranged. Running condition and applicable functions are verified.
