Crystal Polishing & Light Refinish

Light scratches removed from acrylic or mineral crystals, with a tidy of the surrounding bezel. Good for daily-wear pieces that have picked up surface marks over the years.

Frequently Asked

Do I need an appointment to drop off my watch?

Yes — a short appointment is preferred so the piece can be looked at properly on arrival and you can ask any questions. Contact the workshop by phone or through the form to arrange a time.

How do you handle particularly old or delicate movements?

Antique and complicated pieces are assessed station by station before any work begins. A written condition report is prepared and agreed upon with the owner before the first tool is picked up.

What if parts are needed that you don't have in stock?

Where possible, parts are hand-fitted or fabricated to match the original rather than replaced wholesale. If sourcing is required, this is discussed openly before any order is placed and the estimated wait is included in the quoted turnaround.

Are the quoted prices fixed or estimates?

The prices listed are fixed for the standard scope of each service. If inspection reveals work beyond that scope, you will be contacted before anything additional is done. No work proceeds without your agreement.

Do you work on watches from any brand?

The workshop handles mechanical pieces across brands, with particular experience in antique pocket watches and dress watches. Quartz movements are not a focus here — the skills are best applied to manual and automatic calibres.

How do I know what condition my watch is in before visiting?

A brief description and a few photographs sent through the enquiry form will give us enough to advise which service is most appropriate and whether a visit is worthwhile. No obligation is attached to that first exchange.
